A good emample of a European Pekin. Note the carriage is very upright, very short neck, and buffled head and short bill. A very extreme, and petite Brown Chinese male. This specimen has great carriage, type, and tons of heavy curls A great example of Pastel Rouens bred and owned by Holderreads Waterfowl Farm in Oregon. Pastel Rouens have never became as popular as the the greys, and seldom bred in the United States
A white African hen. A sport that hatched from grey matings from David Reath of Michigan in the early 1970's. She became a foundation breeder, for many fine White Africans. The bird was eight years when photographed Example of over -caruncling on a exhibition Muscovy. This male had extremely obstructed vision. Photographed at a Muscovy Breeders National in Lucasville Ohio in 1999. Over 80 Muscovies were shown .A Blue Steinbacher goose photographed in England, and developed in Germany. Note she soft blue color, and black lined lower , and upper madible. Steinbachers have been imported to the United States by the Krebbs family of Michigan in 2002 A massive White Embden male bred and shown by Dom Blodgett of Maine in the Early 1980's .A super grand trio of White Embdens bred and owned by Holderreads Waterfowl Farm of Oregon. One of the finest trios of Embdens I have seen to this date.

A massive Grey African gander owned by Ryan Gartman of  Wisconsin. This great bird won a string of championships in the early 2000's. A Holderreads Waterfowl Farm bred African.

A beautiful Pastel Rouen from Wassergeflugelzucht of Germany. Note strong pastel markings from head to tail. A very popular variety in Germany. A very massive 9 month old Grey Toulouse male bred by Royal Oaks Farm. Males that  mature this rapidly, offten make better show specimens than breeders. This male, "Titan" never bred any females. A 2 year Old, "Maxine II", Grey Toulouse female bred and owned by James Konecny of Illinois in 1978. She was produced out of a pure Reath mating from a decendant of McKeebe bloodlines. Note the tremendous depth in body. A very typy, and well condition Pastel drake at the National Call Breeders National in Columbus Ohio 2008. Owned by Jerry Foley of Kentucky. Note the wing speculum is not visible. Heavy feathering in the thigh coverts sometime cover the speculum in some specimens. Totally acceptable, and "not" a fault. A very well colored, alert, Grey Call male at the 2008 National Call Breeders National in Columbus Ohio. Awarded Best of variety, and Reserve of Breed. Bred and Owned by Art Lundgren of New York.
An outstanding White Call pullet bred and owned by Brice Wonders of Pennsylvania. She won Reserve of Breed and Reserve Bantam Duck at the National Call Breeders National in Lucasville Ohio in 2007. Just one row of four Call Duck breeding pens at Superior Farms in Oklahoma. Hutches like these often accomodate trio's and quads A excellant breeding pen of Buff Ducks at Superior Farms in Oklahoma. Five males, and 25 females occupy this flock mating. A common mating pen on larger farms, and hatcheries. A typical mating of Saxony Ducks of Superior Farms of Oklahoma. Saxony's are quite vigorous, and one strong healthy male can breed five females. An oustanding White Call male bred and owed by Charley Hodum of Mississippi. A well balanced Call, in a slightly curious pose.
An outstanding type Black Cayuga Pullet winner of a Best in Show in Minnesota 2008. Bred and owned ny Kershaws Waterfowl of Wisconsin. Note that improper lighting conditions effects, and dulls the tremoundous green sheen these birds have. Bloodlines credit to Don Roscoe of MInnesota. .
